update 08-12-18

What an absolutely BRILLIANT week class 6. We started looking at fractions last week and continued by adding and applying our knowledge. Year 5 mastered improper and mixed number fractions too. Huge effort by everyone :)

Our amazing explanation texts are complete and I have been showing them to everyone. They are simply amazing. The attention to detail and the care taken over them has been phenomenal. The children now have a fantastic understanding of the heart and how it works. Brilliant Class 6!

Our dragon eyes are now painted and glazed and should be making their way home. An artistic bunch in class 6! They look fab! We then finished the week with a narrative for big write. The vocabulary and grammatical structures included (independently) in your writing Class 6 blew me away! This has been the best week of the year and I know this is only the beginning!

This week's homework is under the homework tab and is a competition to write an amazing poem about diversity. I look forward to reading them.

Our class party will be on the last Tuesday of term and details will follow.

Next week we have the panto on Weds (Oh yes we do), Carol service (at Holy Trinity Church) and Christmas Dinner on Friday. Phew! A busy one!
