Week 1 - 15.4.24
First week back and everyone has been amazing learners, well done Class 2!
Your resilience and perseverance has been outstanding.
Here is what we have been learning about:
Maths - we have been continuing our work on fractions as we have found 1/4 and 3/4’s of amounts, we then moved onto look at unit and non-unit fractions.
English - we have begun a new story called Traction Man. The children have read the story, role-played the story, made puppets for the story and rewritten the story as a story board.
Science - we have been looking at what creatures and bugs are alive or not alive in the world and how we know this. We then moved onto look at microhabitats, what lives in them, why and we then went to look for them outside, take a look at the photos of what we found…. A giant worm, lots of ants, slugs, bugs and much more!
A super busy busy week of learning Class 2!
