Well done for all of your hard work this week Class 5! You have all had such a fantastic attitude to the assessments this work and I am very proud of you all. These assessments are key for me to be able to support and challenge you where necessary.
In addition to assessments, you all created alternative endings to The Highway man in the style of Alfred Noyes. Some of these really blew me away! Your use of figurative language and attention to detail was truly fabulous. We also wrote our own narrative poems about Robin Hood.
In maths we have been learning about finding percentages of amounts and applying our knowledge to missing value questions too.
Science saw us recreating casein plastic with milk and vinegar plus producing carbon dioxide with vinegar, bicarbonate of soda and a balloon!
After all your hard work this week, you really deserve your week off! Enjoy, rest up and recharge ready for the second half of term.
I look forward to seeing you all on the 24th February.
