This week we are having a great time enjoying the story of Hairy Maclary. The children are enjoying the funny names the dogs have! We will be taking turns to retell the story this week, working on our language skills.
In phonics we are exploring initial sounds. Using our brilliant listening ears we are sorting objects and pictures and playing games using the beginning sounds of words.
In Maths we are working on our accurate counting skills, making sure we don't miss any items out! This can be very tricky. We are enjoying lots of counting songs. Below is one of our favourites.
We enjoyed making our own Hairy Maclary dog agility course!!
We built our own homes for the dogs, complete with a water system! Watch our for Scarface Claw!
