Week 1 - 17-21st April
Welcome back Class 2!
What a busy week we have had. In Maths you have been exploring fractions, in English we have worked on our new story 'Traction Man', you were fab at re-enacting the story and planning it ready to write next week whilst in grammar work you found the missing punctuation and corrected it. We have been whizzing along with our times tables, learning x2, 3, 4, 5, 10 and even a few more, keep up the great work. In Science we have begun to explore plants and flowers, looking at seeds, how and where they grow as well as things we can eat once grown. This is all in preparation for our trip to Hyde Hall very soon where we will plant, explore and learn much more about plants.
