We have some amazing poets in our midst and they certainly blew me away this week with their use of figurative language.

We created some for our Harvest assembly on Monday and then tried different styles for our amazing space poetry. Some of these will go into the poems tab for you to see:)

The children are really getting into their groove and have settled into our new class really well. We are working hard to ensure we are ambassadors of our wonderful school and are demonstrating kindness and patience to those younger than us.

Thanks you to those who have already donated to our harvest box. there is still time to get your donations in though! Please can you pop it in the box on Monday :)

We had three children achieve their bronze reading badge this week! Well done to Emily, Maddie and Melanie! Keep bringing your imagination to life and finding out about lots of new and interesting things!

Have a great weekend all and remember homework is due next Friday. Two missed pieces of homework does result in a yellow card. This is to remind you that it needs to be completed within the time frame unless otherwise agreed. Homework club is on every Wednesday in Miss Hasson's classroom and I'm always happy to help if needed :) The onus is very much on the children though as we are encouraging them to be as independent as possible.

Next week we are having PE on Monday as a one off so please ensure kit is in school.
