Week 5 w/c 3/10/22

Another busy week!

This week we filmed our persuasive speeches to get our fellow villagers to come and fight the evil Grendel with us. Powerful speeches that were expertly delivered. I will add some to here for you to see!

We have continued to learn about the four operations this week. We are still practising column addition and subtraction but have added in long multiplication (using a mosre compact and efficient method) and division. The children have been super resilient and we will continue to practice until we master these key concepts. Don't forget to keep practising those times table facts as they really make these tricky concepts easier :)

Another successful swim this week. Hopefully, we will have everyone in the pool next week. It is one of our PE lessons and is part of the National Curriculum. We would love to see you all achieve a badge for your achievemnts at the end of the sessions.

Finally, Hopeworx needs us! The children researched the global goal: zero hunger this week and have pledged to support (if they can) to achieve this by 2030. If you have any tins or dried foods in your cupboard to donate, they would be very gratefully recieved. Thank you in advance!

Double brilliance this week as they have both worked so hard always going above and beyond to be the best that they can be! Let's see what next week brings :)
