Our topics in maths this week were rounding to the nearest whole number, rounding to 1 decimal place and understanding percentages. The children learnt that percentage means out of a hundred.
In English, the children took on the role of a reporter, they interviewed a witness to a news event. After interviewing the witness, the children then wrote a news report based on the account of the witness.
In RE, we studied the beliefs of Buddhism such as middle way; enlightenment and Nirvana. We tried to understand what these beliefs mean and how Buddhist try to live their lives in order to achieve nirvana.
