Week 4 in the books!

This week, we continued our space theme as we learned about the orbit of the Earth and the moon and how this effects shadows and seasons throughout the year. In English, we have celebrated this by writing a setting description of Pandora, which we had a wonderful time “exploring.” What amazing personification, alliteration and similes we have heard throughout our writing!

in maths, we have entered our addition and subtraction unit and are working on regrouping and exchanging and using these skills successfully!

Additionally, this was our first week back to swimming and the kids couldn’t have enjoyed it more! Thank you to everyone who donated or stopped by for our Macmillians coffee afternoon, it was a successful and delicious afternoon of fundraising!
