Brilliance Assembly
Welcome to our second virtual Brilliance Assembly! It was so lovely to have so many of you tuning in last week to sing and celebrate with us.
Lots happening this week, you have been busy as well as Google classroom really taking off! Have you been on a Google Meet yet?
This week Year 6 have been involved in their second secret squirrel challenge week (we would have been on our residential this week). This week they have camped out, created humorous toilets and completed the biscuit challenge. All of this has been done with such enthusiasm and you have all made us very proud of you! Some of their brilliance is below but to see the full range please check the secret squirrel page!
We also have given you all a login for Accelerated Reader and MyOn which is platform for you to enjoy a huge range of ebooks at home. Don't forget we'd like you to read physical books too if you can!
Any queries about school work you can message your teacher directly. If you need your parent ask for you ask them to email homelearning@wyburns.org
Let's here your super singing voices again... I love my life...

Good afternoon to you all. Another fantastic week of brilliance shared. It is inspiring to see the ways we are all adapting to this virtual world. So many new techniques to learn. Well done for earning so many points. The tally chart has been switching all week. Well done to you all. Make sure you check out all the shared home brilliance. I have particularly enjoyed the Year 6 Secret Squirrel adventures- sleeping in a tent in the garden in the rain- designing amazing minecraft schools- creating complex excel spreadsheets, and wacky toilet people. Congratulations to those who received a Brilliance certificate, sending a virtual handshake to you right now.
I hope you are singing along to our assembly songs. Please do send clips of your singing to add to next weeks assembly.
Keep being brilliant, I look forward to seeing what the next week brings.
Mrs Sansom.
