Week 1 - 5.9.22
Wow, what a great first week back we have had!
Year 2 had great fun exploring the allotment on Monday and discovering what had grown over the holidays. Lots of tomatoes, pumpkins and beautiful flowers were found. On Tuesday they were a great help weeding the garden ready for it to be harvested very soon. The children used shovels, rakes and spades to help clear areas to make them look fantastic, still more work to be done but what a great job you did class Asia! The sun even shone on us too! On Wednesday they created avatars on the computers whilst understanding the importance of recognising identity online and online safety. We begun exploring materials around the school, we enjoyed outdoor learning to find out their uses and properties. Later in the week we sorted materials by distinguishing their properties, using some very big words, take a look at the fab photos. What a busy week we’ve had!
