Welcome Back!

Welcome back! Hope had a restful half term. What a busy week we have had already.

We have been learning all about the Blitz this week and Year 6 are shocked at the devastation that the Luftwaffe caused on September 7th 1940. We are writing our own poems next week using figurative language to create different effects. 

Year 6 are loving this topic and some of  their homework is absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to see them all. Remember, they are due in on Friday 3rd March. 

Cross country also started this  week - well done Year 6. I heard a few grumbles but you threw yourself in to it brilliantly 

We counted the book reviews this week and although Year 6 had beaten Year 5, only 50% of the class had completed a book review This is disappointing over a half term! Well you have to be in it to win it and well done Justin who had 3 book reviews and won the  £5 gift voucher!

Finally, we have been in training for the KS2 quiz. I can only take 8 children but you are all so fab and deserving! 

One last thing - We have had 100% attendance this week!! Yes!! well done everyone.
