I am very pleased to join the Local School Board and help to ensure both schools are welcoming, positive and safe environments where all pupils can reach their full potential. My son Joshua is in Year 3 at Wyburns and I am also further involved with the school as the treasurer for the Friends of Wyburns. My background is in finance, having worked as an actuary for a pensions consultancy firm. I currently volunteer for the Pensions Ombudsman and a job club in Canvey run by the Salvation Army.
