Danny Young Theatre School Taster Day

We would like to take the opportunity to invite you & all of your pupils to our Launch event of the Theatre School & Casting Agency on Sunday the 10th of April 2016 at 10am-1pm.

The launch event along with the lessons will be held at -

This exclusive event will provide a free trail session for the Theatre School along with the chance to ask Danny Young any questions you have in a special Q & A session on the day.

The potential students will also be invited to sign up with the school on the day and to purchase exclusive starter packs which will include official merchandise. Please note that spaces are limited. Forms can be downloaded from Community Activities under the News & Events leaf.

Hi guys!

You might be aware that every few years schools have to be checked out by some people from Ofsted. They will be visiting our school tomorrow and Friday and may well visit some of your exciting lessons, look at some of your amazing work and chat with you about our wonderful school.

They would also like you to complete a questionnaire – here is what they say:

Your views are really important to us and will help inspectors understand your experience of school. The questionnaire will close at 11am on 17 March 2016 to give the inspector time to look at the results. The questionnaires work in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer 11, and on mobiles and tablets, when you copy and paste the link into the browser.

We want them to know just how brilliant our school is and what great learners you all are – so, if you would like to, please get on your phones, tablets, laptops etc. and tell them all about what it’s like to be a pupil at Wyburns!

Monday is Pi Day - Pi Contest!

The date on Monday (American format) is 3.14 - the first three digits of the very special number Pi. To celebrate we are holding a Pi Contest to see who can recite Pi to the most number of decimal places. Go to www.piday.org/million for the magic number! The prize will be... pie!
