We are very proud of our Year 6 English and Maths Teams in the Essex annual quizzes. They all worked extremely hard and represented us amazingly. I'm pleased to confirm that the Maths team came FIRST and will be attending the finals in July.

  • School Closure

    Thu 01 Mar 2018

    Dear Parents,

Unfortunately, Wyburns will be closed again on Friday 2nd March. The decision to close has not been taken lightly. Given the weather today we do feel we have made the right decision. With intermittent snow and freezing conditions forecast to get increasingly worse tomorrow, not rising above freezing, the health and safety of our community is paramount.

Having consulted with the other Hockley and Rayleigh Primaries it is highly likely that most, if not all, will also be closed.

We apologise for any convenience this decision may cause, but prefer to give early notice so alternative arrangements can be made.

Business as usual on Monday 5th March- the forecast looks more promising.

Any missed events will be rescheduled.
