The Elves are coming!
Wed 17 Nov 2021Hi Wyburns.
Oh! Those Elves are coming back soon aren’t they? They move around our house, creating mischief, constantly wondering Where are they now? What are they doing? Perhaps this year those Elves can show their funny side, sprinkled with some kindness. I think those Elves could set a really good example. I hope they find your old tins of food and ask for them to be donated to charity? Can they sort the unused toys and give to those in need? Or they could help with chores at home, like unloading the dishwasher. Maybe the Elves could write a list of what they are grateful for when living in this house. If they make a mess, can they clean it up themselves? I’m sure they will still be very funny, we love hearing what they do; writing on bananas, creating flour Angels, hiding on the ceiling and eating all the cereal, but maybe this year they can teach us the art of kindness too.

Art Competition - Essex Police - due 22nd November

There is an Art competition for all the children at Wyburns should they want to - run by Essex police.
They are asking for the children to design a Christmas card for the Chief Constable - showing community and community spirit. So not long to get your entry in!
The art work has to be uploaded onto their website Essex Police website.
from home and then to keep the artwork for later should you be lucky enough to be selected for winning.

Primary School Reception Admissions now open!
Mon 08 Nov 2021As you may be aware, the primary school (Reception) admission round opens on Monday 8 November 2021, for parents of children to apply for a Reception school place for the academic year that starts in September 2022.
The statutory national closing date for applications is 15 January 2022.
From 8 November 2021, applications can be made online via www.essex.gov.uk/admissions. 99% of parents in Essex applied online last year.All of the application information is available on the website above.
